IOwa ALL-STATE music festival

what is it?

Iowa has a long standing tradition of strong All State Choirs, Bands, and Orchestras. This is an annual event hosted by the Iowa High School Music Association (IHSMA) that is held at Hilton Coliseum on ISU's campus in November and is a regional representation of the finest high school musicians Iowa has. Each year, 3,000+ students audition for the choir alone and around 600 students are accepted into the choir each year. It is one of the highest achievements a musician can make at the high school level.
